Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to handle commercial relationships from a home office in Georgia with a preference for the Atlanta area. You will engage existing customers, conduct meetings, and address concerns to support MPC’s position as a trusted supplier.

You will develop market strategies, participate in marketing initiatives, and lead contract reviews to secure valuable renewals while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Relocation to Georgia may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manages the commercial business relationship with existing customers to enhance MPC’s position as a preferred supplier.
• Maintains positive customer relationships, conducts face-to-face meetings, and promptly addresses customer concerns.
• Communicates industry issues, market conditions, and updates regarding MPC products, services, and policies.
• Develops and implements strategies to increase MPC market share and grow commercial value in new and existing markets.
• Leads and/or participates in sales and marketing initiatives, program execution, and promotes new product offerings that create value.
• Regularly conducts strategic reviews of all contracts and negotiates favorable contract renewals that add value.
