The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters is seeking a Real Estate and Development Director with corporate/ commercial real estate experience. This salaried role offers a generous benefits package, with starting pay between $100,000 and $130,000 per year depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing the Divisional Real Estate, negotiations, due diligence, construction oversight, budgeting, and vendor management, with travel across the division as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline; MBA a strong plus.
• Corporate real estate or commercial real estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Midland Divisional Real Estate operations.
• Lead strategic planning, property acquisitions and sale contracts, incl. due diligence.
• Oversee lease negotiations and financial analysis for renewals.
• Supervise negotiations with contractors, architects, vendors for property matters.
• Oversee construction projects to approved schedule and budget.
• Assist with Officer’s Quarters and Facility needs assessments.
• Oversee payments to property vendors and ROF process.
