The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters is seeking a Real Estate and Development Director with corporate/commercial real estate experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline; MBA is a strong plus.
• Corporate real estate or commercial real estate experience required.
• Construction & project management experience is a plus.
• Experience supervising property staff and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Midland Divisional Real Estate: planning, acquisitions, sales contracts, and due diligence.
• Oversee lease negotiations and financial analysis for renewals and due diligence.
• Supervise negotiations with contractors, architects, and vendors for property matters.
• Manage all construction projects within approved schedule and budget.
• Assist in acquisition/disposition of Officer's Quarters and budgets.
• Oversee property insurance claims processing and payments.
• Provide leadership to the Property Department personnel.
• Process property projects through Divisional Finance Board and THQ interactions.
• Oversee tax-exemption applications for qualified property.
