Job summary

The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters is seeking a Real Estate and Development Director with corporate and/or commercial real estate experience. This salaried role offers a generous benefits package with starting pay between $100,000 and $130,000 per year depending on education and experience.

You will manage strategic property planning, oversee lease negotiations, supervise contractors, and lead construction projects to ensure schedule and budget compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline; MBA is a strong plus.
Experience in corporate/commercial real estate and development.
Strong leadership and vendor/contract management skills.

Responsibilities

Manage strategic planning, property acquisition and sale contracts with due diligence.
Oversee lease negotiations and financial analysis for renewals.
Supervise negotiations with contractors, architects and vendors on property matters.
Oversee all construction projects to meet schedule and budget approvals.
Assist with Officer’s Quarters acquisitions and dispositions.
