Job summary

The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters is seeking a Real Estate and Development Director to lead strategic planning, property acquisitions, and complex sale contracts within the division.

This is a salaried position with a generous benefits package; starting pay is $100,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience. The role oversees lease negotiations, construction projects, insurance claims, and a dedicated Property Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline; MBA is a strong plus.
• Experience in corporate/commercial real estate preferred.
• Ability to manage complex property projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, property acquisitions and sale contracts.
• Oversee lease negotiations and financial analysis for renewals.
• Supervise contractors, architects, vendors on property matters.
• Manage construction projects to schedule and budget.
• Lead insurance claims processing and payments.
• Provide leadership to the Property Department staff.
