Job summary

The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters is seeking a Real Estate and Development Director with corporate and/or commercial real estate experience. This salaried role offers a generous benefits package and a starting pay between $100,000 and $130,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

Key duties include strategic planning for property portfolios, negotiations for leases, oversight of construction projects, and leadership of the Property Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline required.
• MBA is a strong plus.
• Experience in corporate/commercial real estate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, property acquisitions/sales, and due diligence per TSA policy.
• Oversee lease negotiations and financial analysis for renewals.
• Supervise contractors, architects, and vendors on property matters.
• Manage construction projects within schedule and budget.
• Assist in Officer’s Quarters acquisition and disposition.
• Oversee property insurance claims and vendor payments.
