Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks a Real Estate Coordinator to assist university or medical center clients with real estate strategies, due diligence, and financial analysis. You will draft leases, purchase and sale agreements, licenses, and easements in consultation with legal counsel.

You will market university property, resolve landlord/tenant issues, support the real estate transaction team, generate reports for the Wexner Medical Center Strategic Space Committee, and help maintain real estate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience in real estate brokerage, investment, facilities management, business administration, or real estate law.
Broad familiarity with a wide array of real estate transactions and negotiation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing strategies to fulfill real estate needs; conduct due diligence and financial analysis for potential transactions.
Negotiate and draft real estate contracts in consultation with legal counsel, including leases and purchase agreements.
Market and show university property to prospective lessees and purchasers; resolve landlord/tenant issues.
Work with the real estate transaction team to support contract execution and project closeout tasks.
Generate reports for the monthly Wexner Medical Center Strategic Space Committee meetings and other leadership reviews.
