Job summary

Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. (RRD) in North America seeks a Rare Diseases Account Manager for Metabolic to cover San Jose, Oakland or San Francisco.

You will own promotional relationships with physicians and healthcare staff, deploy strategic plans for approved products and grow sales within your territory. This field-based role requires strong consultative selling, cross-functional collaboration, and strict adherence to FDA/OIG guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of proven sales success in Rare Diseases, Metabolic or biotech.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy models and patient services hubs is preferred.
• Demonstrated account management and business acumen in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of AIP, Cystinosis, NAGS deficiency and Recordati products.
• Develop and implement territory strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with physicians and healthcare staff.
• Manage budget and allocate resources for sales and marketing activity.
• Represent Recordati at industry events to promote ethical standards.
