Job summary

Recordati Rare Diseases North America is seeking a Rare Disease Account Manager to lead promotional relationships and drive sales for Cushing's disease states across a defined US territory. You will build sustainable provider partnerships and deploy strategies to grow market share while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires deep disease-state knowledge, proven sales success in rare diseases, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; scientific degree a plus.
• 5–9 years sales in Rare Diseases/Endocrinology/biotech.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy model and patient services hub preferred.
• Strong account management and business acumen.
• Clinical disease-state knowledge and consultative sales experience.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Small-company/start-up experience desirable.
• FDA/OIG/phPhRMA guidelines experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Cushing Syndrome, Cushing Disease and Acromegaly and related products.
• Develop and implement territory plans to build awareness and drive revenue.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Prioritize visibility with healthcare providers and target customers.
• Manage budget to support sales and marketing activity.
• Represent Recordati Rare Diseases at industry events with high ethical standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet provider and patient needs.
• Stay updated on therapeutic area developments and market trends in US.
• Comply with FDA/OIG guidelines and travel as required.
