You will review bid packages, format RFQ data, coordinate with Outside Sales, and assemble proposals with required documentation. Strong Excel/Quoting tools experience preferred.

The role emphasizes accurate bid articulation, timely communication, and proactive pricing discussions to win projects while supporting the sales team throughout the bidding process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile projects
• Review bid package requirements including technical/commercial/documentation
• Format customer request into a standardized bid spreadsheet
• Break down bid package and issue RFQ to vendors
• Receive pricing and prepare bid tabulation for review
• Prepare and submit final proposal with required documentation
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and suggest substitutes
• Participate in product meetings to enhance product knowledge
• Meet with team to discuss vendor strategy and margins
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
• Leverage digital tools to promote products to customers
