Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Quotations Specialist to establish relationships with customers and vendors, secure competitive pricing, and prepare comprehensive bid proposals. The role involves complex bid reviews, RFQ management, and collaboration with outside sales to craft winning strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and a proactive sales mindset to support Rexel’s bidding activities and growth in the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred.
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects.
• Review bid package and requirements (technical, commercial, documentation).
• Collaborate with Outside Sales or branches on strategy for each proposal.
• Format customer requests into a standardized bid spreadsheet.
• Issue RFQs to vendors and collect pricing for bid tabulation.
• Prepare and submit final proposal with required documentation.
• May negotiate pricing and substitutions with suppliers.
• Maintain product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Discuss vendor strategy and margin levels with the team.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Leverage digital tools to drive new business.
