Job summary

Rexel USA in Capitol Heights, MD is seeking a Quotations Specialist to establish pricing for bids, review bid packages, and provide product knowledge. You will work with Outside Sales and branches to shape proposal strategy and ensure accurate bid tabulations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service or project management, experience in electrical distribution or lighting, and a High School diploma or GED. The role offers a path for growth within Rexel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects
• Review bid package and requirements (technical, approved manufacturers, commercial, documentation)
• Coordinate with Outside Sales or branches to discuss bid strategy
• Format customer requests into a standardized spreadsheet for bid review
• Issue RFQs to vendors and compile bid tabulations
• Prepare and submit final proposal with all required documentation
• May negotiate pricing with supplier and offer substitutes when appropriate
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
• Utilize company digital tools to sell or demonstrate product knowledge to customers
• Perform other duties as assigned
