Rexel USA in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Gear Quotations Specialist to manage bids and establish price positions with customers and vendors. You will review bid packages, formulate quotations, and provide product knowledge to support proposals.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Outside Sales and branches, accurate bid formatting, RFQ communication, pricing negotiation, and ongoing product familiarity to drive winning bids and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred.
• High School or GED - Required

Mansioni

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects.
• Review bid package and all requirements, including technical, commercial and documentation.
• Work closely with Outside Sales or branches to discuss bid strategy.
• Format customer requests into a standardized bid spreadsheet for review.
• Break down bid package and issue RFQ to vendors for pricing.
• Receive pricing and assemble a bid tabulation for review.
• Prepare and submit final proposal with all required documentation.
• May negotiate pricing with supplier and offer substitutes where appropriate.
• Participate in product meetings and training to maintain knowledge.
• Meet with team to discuss vendor strategy and margin levels.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Leverage digital tools to promote or demonstrate product knowledge.
