Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred
• High School or GED – Required
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects
• Review bid packages and requirements, including technical and commercial aspects
• Collaborate with Outside Sales or branches to discuss strategy for proposals
• Format requests into a standardized bid spreadsheet
• Send RFQs to vendors and assemble bid tabulations for review
• Prepare and submit final proposals with all documentation
• May negotiate pricing and suggest substitute products when appropriate
• Engage in product meetings to expand knowledge and refine margins
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers and leverage digital tools to grow business
