Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Gear Quotations Specialist for its Maryland Heights, Missouri location. You will establish customer and vendor relationships to secure pricing for bids, review bid packages, and prepare quotations with product knowledge.

Collaborate with Outside Sales to determine strategy and ensure accurate bid submissions. The role emphasizes bid analysis, RFQ management, and final proposal preparation while maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service or related experience
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls preferred
• High School or GED required

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects
• Review bid packages and all requirements
• Coordinate with Outside Sales/branches for proposal strategy
• Format requests into standardized bid spreadsheets
• Issue RFQs to vendors and communicate deadlines
• Prepare and submit final proposals with required documentation
• Negotiate pricing and substitutions when appropriate
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
• Promote products using digital tools to drive new business
• Perform other duties as assigned
