Job summary

Soni is seeking a Pursuit & Proposals Manager to lead the development and execution of high-impact proposals, pitches, and strategic pursuits across the firm. You will partner with business development teams and stakeholders to craft compelling win strategies, coordinate complex opportunities, and ensure proposal resources are deployed effectively across priority pursuits.

The role also leads pursuit resources, establishes consistent processes and best practices, and provides hands-on support

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing proposals, pitches, RFPs and strategic pursuits in professional services.
• Ability to lead complex, high-value pursuits from strategy through final submission.
• Strong understanding of win strategy, positioning, messaging, and client-focused proposal development.
• Experience leading proposal/pursuit professionals and allocating resources across opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-impact proposals, pitches, and related materials, ensuring content is clear, compelling, strategically positioned, and tailored to the opportunity.
• Lead pursuit and proposal resources and determine how support should be allocated across opportunities based on priority, complexity, and business needs.
• Partner with pursuit teams to define win themes, positioning, messaging, and differentiators before proposal and pitch materials are developed.
• Ensure pursuit strategies and materials reflect client needs, priorities, and business challenges while communicating the firm’s value proposition.
• Provide direct, hands-on support for the firm’s largest and most strategic opportunities, ensuring appropriate attention and resources.
• Project manage large, cross-functional pursuits, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, deliverables, approvals, and workstreams.
• Develop and implement standardized pursuit and proposal processes, tools, templates, and playbooks.
• Establish consistent pursuit practices across teams and regions to maintain high execution standards.
