Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager to lead promotion of our psychiatry portfolio, executing sales and marketing strategies with clinical knowledge to drive performance. The role covers the Findlay/Toledo East, OH territory and requires building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
• Self-starter, with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Meeting and complying with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / customer facilities is required for continued employment with Lundbeck.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: Use data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy & tactics, allocate resources to enhance sales execution, monitor progress and adjust direction to maximize sales performance.
• Selling: Deliver messages clearly, probe customer needs, handle objections, and close with a commitment to action.
• Customer Development: Build and maintain productive relationships based on customer needs and organizational goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: Gather market trends and dynamics and apply therapeutic knowledge to identify opportunities.
• Reimbursement: Stay informed on payer access issues and use Lundbeck resources to address them.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: Apply knowledge of regulatory environments and Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations.
