Job summary

Lundbeck seeks a dedicated Psychiatry Account Manager to lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio in the Findlay / Toledo East, OH territory. You will execute sales and marketing strategies, backed by clinical knowledge to drive performance, build relationships with healthcare providers and navigate payer dynamics.

The role requires 2+ years in pharma/biopharma sales, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 30–40% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
• Self-starter, with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Meeting and complying with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / customer facilities is required for continued employment with Lundbeck.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership—use data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy & tactics, allocate resources to enhance sales execution, monitor progress and adjust direction.
• Selling—deliver messages clearly, probe needs, handle objections and close calls with a commitment to action.
• Customer Development—build and maintain productive relationships based on customer needs and organizational goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise—gather trends, map account linkages and apply therapeutic knowledge.
• Reimbursement—stay informed on payer access issues and address them using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance—adhere to policies and FDA regulations regarding promotion of products.
• Travel—willingness to travel up to 30%–40% domestically to meet customers and attend conferences.
