Job summary

Luye Pharma seeks a Psychiatric Account Manager to build relationships with specialists, CMHCs, hospitals, and IDNs in the Chicago area. You will drive territory plans, deliver clinical brand presentations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pull-through strategies.

The role requires psychiatric selling experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within a matrixed environment. A valid driver's license and proximity to the territory are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; Life Sciences preferred.
• 5+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Healthcare industries.
• Psychiatric experience required; knowledge of Schizophrenia field strongly preferred.
• CMHC account management and/or Hospital/Institutional experience strongly preferred.
• Established relationships in the geography strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of formulary approval processes and driving formulary approvals preferred.
• Must live near territory boundaries.
• Proven track record of success in a high science competitive selling environment.
• Ability to identify key decision makers, develop positive relationships and strong customer dedication.
• Proven track record of exceeding results.
• Self-starter, highly motivated to succeed.
• Strong communication, business analytics and account management skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive relationships with target institutions and community accounts, including key influencers and decision makers.
• Succeed in a complex, matrixed selling environment with cross-functional partners (Account Partners, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Collaborate with field-based colleagues to provide cross-functional support for customers in the geography.
• Identify key influencers and achieve interaction expectations with top target customers.
• Use data tools and insights to shape strategies and tactics for decision-making.
• Deliver product presentations to physicians and health care professionals.
• Plan activities to ensure regular territory coverage per action plan.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Execute brand strategy and participate in training programs.
