Job summary

Veritas Data Research is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to own responses to RFx and unsolicited proposals from go/no-go to submission. You will translate customer requirements into compelling, compliant proposals and coordinate contributors across Sales, Product, Operations, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in proposal management or RFP response.
• Ability to translate customer needs into structured, persuasive responses.
• Experience with public sector solicitations is a plus.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong project management with deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end proposal process for RFx responses and unsolicited proposals, from go/no-go decision through final submission.
• Analyze solicitation documents and customer requirements, build compliance matrices, and translate customer needs into structured, persuasive responses.
• Develop proposal schedules, assign sections and reviewers, and coordinate cross-functional contributors to meet every deadline.
• Partner with Sales leadership to define and implement bid strategy, win themes, and competitive positioning for each opportunity.
• Lead review cycles and resolve conflicting input, ensuring responses are accurate, consistent, and aligned with customer requirements and Veritas standards.
• Build and maintain a proposal content library of approved answers, product descriptions, case studies, and boilerplate, keeping it current as products and policies change.
• Track the proposal pipeline, outcomes, and win/loss feedback, and use the findings to improve content, process, and win rates.
• Source and qualify new bid opportunities by monitoring procurement portals, public sector tender sites, and industry networks, and build and maintain a pipeline of potential bids in partnership with Sales.
