Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Area Sales Manager (Strategic Projects Team) to proactively develop large project opportunities across core and emerging technologies. You will lead cross-functional teams and engage government decision-makers to influence funding and drive successful bids.

You will maintain a healthy pipeline, forecast orders, and navigate the bid environment while upholding Motorola’s contract terms and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall strategy, direction, and execution of identified strategic projects.
• Lead internal teams on critical projects with clear direction and purpose.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers in public safety and government.
• Drive strategies with government customers for success in bid and sole source environments.
• Forecast orders and revenue weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Maintain CRM data and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet territory objectives.
• Understand contract terms and regulatory compliance.
