Job summary

AEP is seeking a Project Scheduler to coordinate scope of work activities and support Project Managers in scheduling and control functions. The role involves developing and maintaining complex schedules, tracking progress, and preparing status reports for the scope of work execution team.

The candidate should have related education, several years of experience in project planning, and familiarity with scheduling tools like Primavera or SmartSheet. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Define activities, durations, sequences and milestones for scope of work plans.
• Ensure all scope and deliverables are accounted for.
• Develop and analyze project schedules using Primavera or SmartSheet; lead schedule reviews.
• Capture minutes, action items, and schedule updates; highlight risks and issues.
• Communicate schedule status to stakeholders and ensure governance alignment.
• Support governance standards and security role assignments; generate status reports.
• Prepare and analyze KPI metrics and reports.
