Job summary

AES Clean Energy is seeking a Lead Project Scheduler to develop and maintain schedules for all assigned projects and to summarize EPC schedules into the integrated master schedule. You will monitor progression, explain variances, and prepare reports for project developers and managers.

The role requires coordinating with multiple teams to ensure schedules are achievable, updated, and aligned with project baselines, with opportunities to contribute to schedule analysis and EPC contract adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of scheduling experience or similar roles in solar, O&G, utility, renewable, or construction sectors.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project; able to develop and maintain complex schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present schedules to stakeholders.
• Ability to lead others in developing schedules and plans and to reach consensus.
• Collaborative teammate with solid customer-facing and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of scheduling data, WBS structures, and baseline management.

Responsibilities

• Review project schedule data, verify activity dates, WBS, and related information.
• Evaluate work packages for feasibility and scheduling impact.
• Propose alternative methods to meet customer deadlines and project goals.
• Communicate schedule status and corrective actions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with developers and managers to keep schedule information accurate and current.
• Develop and maintain project baselines and perform schedule analyses for EPC contracts.
