Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a Lead Project Scheduler for AES Clean Energy to develop and maintain project schedules, summarize EPC schedules into the integrated master schedule, and monitor progress against baselines. You will explain variances and support developers, managers, and leadership with timely reports.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of scheduling experience, strong Primavera P6 and MS Project skills, and proven ability to collaborate across teams to keep schedules current and aligned

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of scheduling experience in solar project development and/or construction or related industries.
• Experience applying scheduling techniques using scheduling software and performing scheduling analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to reach consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review project schedule data, verify dates, WBS structure, and related data.
• Evaluate work packages for feasibility of implementation.
• Recommend alternative methods to efficiently achieve desired outcomes.
• Communicate schedule status and corrective actions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers and managers to ensure schedule information is conveyed accurately.
• Develop and maintain project baselines and reports on schedule trends.
• Coordinate with customers to obtain status data and ensure plans are achievable.
• Prepare standard scheduling reports reflecting status and corrective actions.
