Carvana in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Project Manager in Market Operations to lead high-priority initiatives across stakeholders, defining goals, scope, deliverables, resources and timelines, while driving cross-functional collaboration. You will build relationships and manage full project lifecycles with minimal guidance.

You will train teams on PM methodologies, use data to guide decisions, identify risks, and help improve processes while promoting Carvana's culture and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of 3 years working experience in Project Management.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams through Initiation, Design, Planning, Execution and Close phases for large-scale, complex initiatives.
• Experience working across HR, IT/technology, construction, engineering, procurement, operations to communicate project vision, develop plans and drive change.
• Self-starter with the ability to drive excellence, meet high standards and multi-task analytically.
• Ability to learn quickly, transfer knowledge and provide valuable feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-priority initiatives and projects by collaborating, communicating and prioritizing with stakeholders to achieve goals.
• Build relationships and work cross-functionally with partners to support project initiatives.
• Execute full-cycle project management duties: define goal, scope, deliverables, resources, budget and timeline; plan, monitor, control and close.
• Navigate ambiguity and complexity; drive the ideal process to meet business needs.
• Dive deep into operations to support project management methodologies and solutions across the organization.
• Identify weaknesses and risks; help innovate or improve processes.
• Use data to make operational decisions, uncover insights and guide senior management.
• Train and coach teams on PM methodologies, processes and applications.
• Partner with stakeholders to determine needs and create communication plans for leadership; report portfolio/project progress.
