Job summary

Carvana is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-priority initiatives within Market Operations. You will collaborate across HR, IT, procurement, and engineering to drive complex, ambiguous programs from initiation through close, using data-driven insights to guide executive decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in project management or related fields, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 5 years working experience in Project Management, operations, business analytics, or a related role.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-priority initiatives and projects by collaborating, communicating and prioritizing across essential stakeholders to ensure goals are achieved.
• Build strong relationships and work cross-functionally with necessary partners to support project initiatives.
• Execute full-cycle project management duties to meet project goals within constraints (define goal, scope, deliverables, resources, budget and timeline; planning, monitoring and controlling; closing).
• Leverage advanced analytical skills to measure project success, assess operational performance, conduct root cause analysis, and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Identify operational weaknesses and risks, and help innovate or improve processes.
• Use data to make operational decisions, uncover insights, and provide direction to senior management.
• Train and coach teams on project management methodologies, data-driven decision-making, and analytical frameworks.
• Partner with stakeholders to determine departmental needs and create communication plans to leadership; communicate portfolio/project progress across Market Operations.
