Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Construction Project Manager for its Infrastructure Development team in Tempe, AZ. This in-person role manages the construction process from bid through completion across multiple sites, ensuring schedules, costs, and risks are kept current for senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM experience in real estate or construction, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% for site visits and vendor oversight.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in real estate, construction, or related capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact on project status with budget, schedule, and risk updates.
• Build and maintain cost reports, schedules, and forecasts for leadership visibility.
• Lead the construction process end-to-end including permitting, bidding, GC contracts, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with Development and Engineering teams to finalize design and identify constructability issues.
• Direct vendors/consultants and drive process standardization across the site network.
• Communicate schedules, policies, permits, safety, and budget performance to senior leadership.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach mutual agreement.
• Other duties as assigned.
