Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead or support transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects with cross-functional teams across multiple operating areas. You will manage scope, schedule and budgets, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and safety performance.

The role requires coordinating with sponsors at executive levels, developing plans, and ensuring timely project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 2–4 years PM experience, or HS Diploma with 3–6 years PM experience
• Ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with conflicting priorities
• Demonstrated leadership, communications and presentation skills
• Experience with budgeting, cost control and performance metrics
• Proficiency with Work, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and Passport
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT and organizational initiatives
• Manage costs, schedule, scope and risks with recovery plans to stay within approved limits
• Interface with stakeholders to coordinate project requirements
• Build effective working relationships with team members and contract service providers
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders on project issues at executive levels
• Coach and guide team members to fulfill responsibilities and tasks
• Identify and obtain project team resources with manager support
