Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead and support cross-functional projects across transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT. You’ll manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance for programs ranging from $250K to $5M, with extended hours during storms or energy emergencies.

You will interface with internal and external stakeholders, ensure recovery plans are in place, and coach teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 2–4 years PM experience, or 3–6 years with HS diploma
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; 2–4 years PM experience, or 3–6 years with HS diploma
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust and communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with multi-task priorities
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Demonstrated strong judgment and time management skills
• PM skills, writing skills and PC skills including Work, Excel, Access, Power Point, Project, Passport
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT, and organizational initiatives
• Manage costs, schedule, scope and risks; develop recovery plans
• Interface with stakeholders to coordinate project requirements
• Build effective relationships with team members, line managers and contract service providers
• Serve as primary communicator with sponsor and stakeholders on project issues
• Coach and lead team members to ensure tasks are completed
• Identify and obtain project team resources with assistance of PM Manager
