Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to partner with project delivery teams, ensuring financial alignment with enterprise goals. You will influence budgeting, WBS setup, revenue recognition, and risk management across multiple high-complexity projects.

The role requires 5–7 years in project or commercial finance, advanced Excel, and ERP experience (Oracle preferred). Strong stakeholder engagement and a proactive mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a closely-related discipline (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience).
• 5-7 years of relevant post-education experience in project finance or commercial finance in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office and ERP tools (Oracle preferred).
• Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization tools (advantageous).
• Self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Exceptional stakeholder relationship management and engagement skills with the ability to influence delivery, commercial, and finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to project delivery teams to ensure alignment of financial outcomes with enterprise objectives.
• Advise on project budgeting, WBS development, pricing tool inputs, and funding methods.
• Monitor project forecasts, variances, and margin performance; provide actionable insights to drive profitability.
