WSP USA is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to partner with project delivery teams, ensuring financial outcomes align with enterprise objectives. You will guide budgeting, revenue recognition, and forecasting while identifying risks and opportunities across multiple projects.

The role requires 5–7 years of project finance or commercial finance experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and proven stakeholder management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience).
• 5-7 years of relevant post-education experience in project finance or commercial finance in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Proficiency in Translation of Financial Concepts, Project-related Critical Thinking, Contract Lifecycle Management, Escalation Management, Relationship Building and Business Acumen.

Responsabilités

• Act as a trusted finance partner to project managers, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and financial terms.
• Provide guidance on project setup, including WBS development, budgeting, rate selection, and pricing inputs.
• Advise on project financial planning and risk identification.
• Review labor structures and rate optimization for margin improvement.
• Advise on project funding, billing methods, and rates for assigned projects.
• Monitor project forecasts for accuracy and alignment with FP&A targets.
• Perform margin and financial impact calculations and explain variances.
• Support project closeout with contract requirements and audit readiness.
