Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville, TN seeks a Project Director to provide overall direction and leadership for the assigned work program across all phases of the project lifecycle. You will drive operational excellence, financial management, and risk mitigation while partnering with clients and stakeholders.

You will mentor teams, manage subcontractors, lead preconstruction efforts, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• In lieu of the above, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 15+ years construction management experience (Preferred).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• Demonstrated success in simultaneously leading multiple large or complex projects and/or multiple teams (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Leads safety culture and implements corrective actions to maintain an injury-free environment.
• Supports strategy development and company-wide initiatives within the work program.
• Provides strategic direction to team members in light of broader program plans.
• Serves as the primary client relationship executive at a leadership level and builds long-term relationships.
