Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Director to provide overall direction and leadership for a work program across all phases of the project lifecycle. The role emphasizes operational excellence, financial management, and stakeholder relationship management to meet contractual and financial targets.

Key duties include strategic planning, risk management, subcontractor strategy, preconstruction, and ensuring safety leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities are essential for project lifecycle oversight.
Proven ability to manage budgets, risk and client relationships in large-scale construction programs.

Responsibilities

Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project across all lifecycle phases.
Leads safety culture and incident investigations; ensures injury-free environment.
Develops and executes strategic plans for the work program in line with company strategy.
Manages client relationships at a leadership level and drives new business opportunities.
Oversees risk management, change orders, contingency expenditures and fee enhancements.
