Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Project Director to provide overall direction and leadership for the assigned work program across all phases of the project lifecycle. You will drive operational excellence, financial management, and risk oversight while aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, strategic planning, and strong client relationship management, with accountability for budget, schedule, and contract performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 15+ years construction management experience (Preferred).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• Demonstrated success in leading multiple large or complex projects and/or multiple teams (Required).
• Must have experience running 75M+ Aviation projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project or work program across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment; investigates incidents and retrains staff as needed.
• Supports strategy development and company-wide initiatives within the work program.
• Provides strategic direction to team members in light of broader program plans across all areas of the lifecycle.
• Manages client relationships at a leadership level and pursues new business opportunities and repeat wins.
• Establishes and mitigates project risks; negotiates change orders and fee enhancements; conducts risk assessments.
