Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Project Director to lead the assigned work program across all phases of the project lifecycle. You will drive operational excellence, financial management, and stakeholder relationships while overseeing risk, contracts, and subcontractor strategy.

You will mentor teams, develop strategic direction, and ensure safety and performance targets are met in alignment with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 15+ years construction management experience (preferred).
• 5+ years people management experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership for the project lifecycle and strategy.
• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Supports strategy development and company-wide initiatives.
• Provides strategic direction to teams across the project lifecycle.
• Manages client relationships at leadership level and fosters repeat business.
• Escalates project risks and negotiates resolutions including changes.
• Develops subcontractor strategy and oversees selection process.
• Leads preconstruction discussions with clients at leadership level.
• Oversees project and schedule review and ensures contractual obligations.
• Manages staffing, resources, and budgeting for program success.
• Represents the organization in community and industry engagement.
