Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville seeks a Project Director to provide overall direction and leadership for the assigned work program across all project phases, driving operational excellence, financial management, and stakeholder relationships.

You will oversee risk, subcontractor strategy, preconstruction efforts, and schedule reviews, while modeling JE Dunn's safety culture and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is required.
Minimum 15+ years in construction management with progression.
Experience leading multiple teams and large projects.

Responsibilities

Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project across all phases.
Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment through action and mentoring.
Supports strategy development and company-wide initiatives within the work program.
Provides strategic direction to team members per program plans.
Serves as the primary client relationship executive at a leadership level.
Escalates and resolves project risks, including change orders and contingencies.
