Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Project Manager 1 in Nashville to lead overall project direction and administration for a complex project. You will build strong client relationships, manage scheduling, budgets and subcontractors, and drive safety culture on site.

You will coordinate with design teams, owners and vendors, oversee preconstruction activities, and mentor team members toward the Project Manager 2 path within JE Dunn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of project management, ensuring safety culture and project success.
• Manages preconstruction activities including scope, schedule and bidding.
• Coordinates with subcontractors, owners, design teams and vendors.
• Prepares and approves submittals and change orders; manages project budget and schedule.
• Interfaces with legal and risk management as needed.
• Supports project closeout and documentation.
