Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage and coordinate project activities from inception through completion, ensuring scope, quality, time, and cost constraints are met.

You will support the Director of Integration, develop workplans, facilitate meetings, report status, and track costs against budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

A BS/BA in a related discipline and 1–3 years of experience are preferred, with PMP certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment assessments if applicable
• BS/BA in a related discipline preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• PMP or relevant certification preferred but not required by experience

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Integration, supports all integration projects from a coordination perspective
• Develop new systems, techniques and procedures for automated planning systems, reporting, issue resolution, risk management and budget tracking
• Work with project team to drive accuracy of report outs, maintenance of ongoing workplans, and monitors overall health of projects
• Review plans and schedules of other participating functions for compliance with master schedule; resolve scheduling and inter-functional conflicts
• Participate in or lead daily, weekly or monthly meetings; review to track and report project status
• Tracks and oversees project costs against project budgets
