Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, seeks a capable Project Coordinator to develop and manage project plans, coordinate activities, and support integration efforts. You will assist integration leaders with daily tasks, maintain workplans, facilitate meetings, and publish status reports.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, meticulous scheduling, and cost monitoring, aiming to keep projects on scope, time, and budget. PMP certification is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.
• 1–3 years of experience in working with cross functional teams.
• PMP or relevant certification preferred but not required based on experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Empathetic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Integration and supports all integration projects from a coordination perspective.
• Develop new systems, techniques and procedures for automated planning systems, reporting, issue resolution, risk management and budget tracking.
• Work with project team to drive accuracy of report outs, maintenance of ongoing workplans, and monitor overall health of projects.
• Review plans and schedules of other participating functions for compliance with the master schedule; resolve scheduling and inter-functional conflicts.
• Participate in or lead daily, weekly or monthly meetings.
• Review to track and report project status, identifying deviations or adverse trends.
• Track and oversee project costs against project budgets.
