Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a Project Coordinator/Manager to develop and manage project plans, coordinate activities, and support integration projects from inception to completion. You will work with the project team to maintain schedules, budgets, and status reporting.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication skills. A BS/BA is preferred, PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams
• PMP or relevant certification preferred but not required based on experience
• Empathetic communication skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Integration and supports all integration projects from a coordination perspective
• Develop new systems, techniques and procedures for automated planning systems, reporting, issue resolution, risk management and budget tracking
• Works with project team to drive accuracy of report outs, maintenance of ongoing workplans, and monitors overall health of projects
• Review plans and schedules of other participating functions for compliance with the master schedule; resolve scheduling and inter-functional conflicts
• Participate in or lead daily, weekly or monthly meetings; review to track and report project status, identifying deviations or adverse trends
• Track and oversee project costs against project budgets
