Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Lead in Houston, TX to drive cost, schedule, and risk management across project lifecycles. You will lead controls resources, report forecasts, and ensure governance and performance management excellence.

You will partner with project engineers, design teams, construction, procurement, and business stakeholders to integrate cost, schedule, risk, and change management into the project lifecycle, delivering value and predictable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
• Ability to influence project teams and stakeholders without a direct reporting line.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effective application of Project Controls processes, tools, and best practices to improve cost, schedule, and performance.
• Serve as the Project Controls leader on the Project Steering Team and as a trusted advisor to project leadership.
• Provide leadership to Project Controls resources across full project execution (FEL, Detailed Eng., Construction).
• Monitor workload demands and identify resource needs, escalating as required.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis, and performance measurement.
• Complete Project Controls deliverables for monthly reports and executive reviews.
• Own quality and integrity of all Project Controls documents and deliverables.
• Develop and communicate meaningful project insights to enable proactive risk management.
• Provide status reporting for all project stages to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support IPA reviews and other project assurance activities as required.
• Oversee Change Management, evaluating impacts on cost, schedule, scope, and objectives.
