Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Lead in Houston, Texas. You will provide strategic leadership for cost, schedule, and risk management across capital projects, aligning with Dow's global project methods and business objectives.

You will partner with engineers, design teams, construction, procurement, and stakeholders to drive proactive decision-making and value realization throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
• Ability to influence project teams and stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
• United States work eligibility; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the application of Project Controls processes, tools, and best practices to improve cost and schedule performance.
• Serve as Project Controls leader on the Project Steering Team and advise project leadership.
• Oversee Project Controls resources for the full project lifecycle (FEL, Detailed Engineering, Construction).
• Provide timely project forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis, and performance measurement.
• Ensure quality and integrity of all Project Controls deliverables and communications.
• Develop meaningful project insights to proactively manage risks and opportunities.
• Report project status and forecast outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support IPA reviews and other project assurance activities as required.
