Job summary

Dow Inc. in Houston, Texas seeks a Project Controls Lead to guide cost, schedule and risk management across large capital programs.

You will act as a technical resource within Dow's Global Project Methodology, guiding forecasting and performance measurement to enable informed decisions. As a key member of the Project Steering Team and Design Team, you will partner with project engineers, construction, procurement, and business stakeholders to integrate cost, schedule, risk, and change management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or related discipline
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated experience in cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and project performance analysis
• Ability to influence project teams and stakeholders without direct reporting line
• U.S.-based: ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead the effective application of Project Controls processes, tools and best practices to improve cost, schedule and performance.
• Serve as the Project Controls leader on the Project Steering Team and advise project leadership.
• Provide leadership to Project Controls resources across full project lifecycle (FEL, Detailed Engineering, Construction).
• Deliver accurate forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis and performance measurement.
• Own the quality and integrity of all Project Controls deliverables and documentation.
• Drive meaningful project insights to proactively manage risks and opportunities.
• Support IPA reviews and project assurance activities as required.
