Job summary

Dow seeks a Project Controls Lead for its Houston operations. You will drive project cost and schedule forecasting, risk management, and governance across the project lifecycle, partnering with engineers, design teams, construction, and procurement to deliver safe, competitive capital investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated experience in cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
• Ability to influence project teams without direct reporting relationship.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effective application of Project Controls processes and best practices to improve cost, schedule, and performance.
• Serve as Project Controls leader on the Project Steering Team and advisor to project leadership.
• Provide direction to Project Controls resources across full project life cycle (FEL to construction).
• Monitor workload demands and identify resource needs; escalate when needed.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis, and performance measurement.
• Own quality and integrity of all Project Controls deliverables and documents.
• Develop meaningful project insights to enable proactive risk/opportunity management.
• Support IPA reviews and other project assurance activities as required.
• Oversee Change Management processes and communicate impacts clearly.
• Utilize metrics like Cost Competitiveness Ratio to monitor health and guide improvements.
