Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a results-driven Program Manager to lead complex software initiatives. The role requires coordinating multi-stakeholder teams, reviewing code to understand testing, and delivering on timelines, quality, and cost while improving operational performance.

You will supervise distributed engineers, design efficient workflows for AI datasets and benchmarks, and serve as the primary client contact, reporting progress and risks.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs in software engineering, technical program management, consulting, startups, or operations.
• Ability to read/review code and understand testing in languages such as Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying bottlenecks, defining metrics, and improving operational performance.
• Experience managing distributed teams, contributor networks, or large-scale technical operations.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate risks and manage expectations.
• Minimum 40 hours/week, with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
• A valid LinkedIn profile is mandatory and must be included on the resume.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across timelines, quality, throughput, performance, and cost.
• Design and improve workflows for coding datasets, AI agents, benchmarks, and evaluations.
• Manage distributed engineering contributors and build effective reviewer/team-lead structures.
• Monitor quality, identify systematic issues, and improve production processes.
• Assess code, tests, task specifications, and technical outputs.
• Act as a primary customer contact and communicate progress, risks, and recovery plans.
• Use tools such as Python or SQL for quality analysis, reporting, and operational improvements.
