Job summary

The State of West Virginia seeks a fiscal and procurement professional in the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The role supports Director of Operations by overseeing contracts, budgets, and reporting, with governance of bid specifications and committee coordination.

Responsibilities include evaluating contracts, maintaining commission spreadsheets, and preparing monthly financial reports for DCR Executive Leadership. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Training: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Substitution: Experience may substitute for the training at 1 year per 30 hours of training.
• Experience: Five (5) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid administrative experience in organizing and coordinating administrative program initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage major agency contracts to ensure compliance.
• Monitor the agency budget in relation to contracts and services.
• Coordinate and chair committees to input bid specifications for goods and contracted services.
• Review monthly service and commission reports to ensure accuracy of commissions.
• Maintain balance spreadsheets of commissions received and compile data for executive reports.
• Review accounts receivable and accounts payable related to Parole Services debt.
• Provide monthly Parole Supervision and Electronic Monitoring fee reports to executive leadership.
• Occasional travel required.
