Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to develop, manage, and evaluate key projects from planning through post-implementation. You will prepare business plans, charters, and performance metrics to align with company objectives, coordinating with stakeholders across IT, operations and regulatory teams.

The role requires 4–7 years of related business experience with a Bachelor’s in business or STEM (MBA preferred), and advanced skills in MS Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or STEM field with 4–7 years of related experience (or 6–9 years without a degree).
• Strong understanding of project management, performance metrics, and business fundamentals.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Proven ability to build consensus, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Customer-focused with excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements and new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of projects, programs, and/or business initiatives with requirements analysis, performance measurement, and QA.
• Coordinate reporting on process/project assignments and develop performance indicators.
• Prepare reports and analyze financial and operational information for projects.
• Coordinate corrective actions and drive business plan development across departments.
• Lead change management activities and train staff on new processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and benchmark analyses.
• Provide guidance to end users and support inquiries.
