Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety, coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to execute complex programs with budgets typically ranging from a few hundred thousand up to multi‑million dollars.

The role requires CAPM certification (or PMP equivalently) and a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4–7 years of PM experience, or HS diploma with 6–9 years of PM experience.
• CAPM certification required; PMP fulfills the requirement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate resources across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, schedule and budget for transmission, substation, distribution and gas initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders and sponsors.
• Develop and present plans, risk mitigations and recovery options.
• Ensure safety performance and regulatory compliance on projects.
• Coach team members and ensure clear responsibilities across the project.
• Engage external partners and internal departments to secure resources.
