Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT projects with cross-functional teams across multiple operating areas. You will own scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance, guiding projects from business case through closeout.

Responsibilities include managing costs, schedules, and interfaces with stakeholders, communicating with sponsors and executives, coaching team members, and ensuring resources are available to achieve objectives on time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4–7 years PM experience, or HS diploma with 6–9 years PM experience.
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of entry (PMP will fulfill).
• Demonstrated and documented success at managing projects.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with conflicting priorities.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall project performance for transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT initiatives.
• Manages costs, schedule and scope; develops recovery plans.
• Interfaces with stakeholders to coordinate requirements and present updates to sponsors and executives.
• Coaches and leads team members to complete tasks and obtain resources.
• Ensures clear assignment of responsibilities and alignment with project goals.
