Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Production Scheduling Professional to translate customer demand into executable manufacturing schedules. You will use SAP and the Manufacturing Execution System (SFM) to sequence, release, and monitor orders while coordinating with Procurement and Production Management to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; an associate degree with relevant production-planning experience will be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, material planning, manufacturing operations, or a related environment.
• Hands-on SAP ERP knowledge for reviewing material requirements, availability, and order status.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage constraints and priorities.
• Excellent cross-functional communication across Production, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sequence, and maintain executable production schedules based on priorities, material availability, capacity, and constraints.
• Schedule, release, and monitor production orders in SFM, ensuring dates, quantities, priorities, and status align with the plan.
• Review material availability and work with Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse to address shortages and recovery dates.
• Partner with Production Management to monitor daily execution, communicate priorities, and resolve delays or capacity issues.
• Replan and resequence orders as needed, clearly communicating changes and potential effects on customer commitments.
• Monitor planning performance via indicators like schedule attainment, plan stability, and backlog to drive improvements.
